Distinguished Speakers :

Ms. Ada YS FUNG, BBS, JP, FHKIA is an Architect by profession. She is an active member in the Architectural field as well as in the construction industry in Hong Kong. In her career as Deputy Director of Housing until end 2017, she has supervised the Development & Construction Division of the Housing Department, overseeing all facets of public housing development work in Hong Kong. Her duties cover overseeing project management, planning, design and contract management, as well as establishing operational policies on procurement, design, construction, quality, performance assessment, dispute resolution, research and development, safety and the environment. She also promotes partnering, value management, risk management, ethical integrity, site safety, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, community engagement, green building and Building Information Modeling and product certification in the industry.
 
She is the Past President of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (2013 - 2014), past Chairperson of the APEC Architect Monitoring Committee of Hong Kong (2012/13 - 2015/16), and past Chairperson of the Architects Registration Board (2010/11 - 2011/12). She is Chairperson of the Committee on Building Information Modeling, and Chairperson of the Committee on Construction Safety of the Construction Industry Council of Hong Kong. She is one of the Directors of the Hong Kong Green Building Council.

Dr. Dru Crawleyis Bentley Fellow and Director, Building Performance focusing on building performance, BIM, net-zero-energy buildings, and sustainability. Before being elevated to Bentley Fellow in 2014, he led development of Bentley’s suite of building performance software for four years. Prior to joining Bentley in 2010, Dr. Crawley developed and managed EnergyPlus and the USDOE’s Commercial Buildings Initiative (now Better Buildings Initiative and Alliances) promoting creation of net-zero-energy buildings. 
 
With more than 35 years of experience in buildings energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability, he has worked in engineering software development, government research and standards development organizations, as well as building design and consulting companies. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland on the topic of building simulation as a policy tool, a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Tennessee and is a registered architect. 

Mr. Tony Leung holds an EMBA from Chinese University of Hong Kong and Bachelor degree in Engineering from University of Toronto. Mr. Leung has over 20 years experiences in Construction IT, Engineering and Education covering innovation, strategic planning, business development, BIM best practices and Smart City development in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore, and Malaysia, Including government, public and private Development projects.

Mr. Benjamin Wan has been in the Macau Engineering and Maintenance Industry for more than 7 years. His expertise is in the field of Boilers, Heating Systems, HVAC, and Sustainable Technologies. He managed numerous Optimization, Energy Saving, and HVAC projects in large scale constructions in Macau, S.A.R. China. Mr. Wan has a degree in Civil Aviation Machinery Engineering from Beihang University, School of Jet Propulsion, and Masters in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Macau. He received an Outstanding Paper Award from The HKIE CAD 2016/2017 Annual Symposium for Strategy of Applying Knowledge Management to Safety of Boiler Operation and Maintenance Engineering Industry. He is an active member of AEM and has been endorsing energy saving systems thru seminars and talks.
