Hoy Bohanon, PE, LEED AP, BEAP is principal in Hoy Bohanon Engineering, PLLC, a firm that focuses on improving the performance of existing mission critical buildings.  Mr. Bohanon began his engineering career as a research and design engineer, and then gained experience as a project engineer, facilities engineer, facilities manager, indoor air quality research engineer, environmental engineer, and business owner. He has a master’s degree in engineering from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.  

Mr. Bohanon has written technical papers and articles on indoor air quality, operations, and maintenance and is a frequent presenter at technical society meetings. He is a recipient of the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award and is chair of ASHRAE Standard 62.1 committee, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality.  He also serves on the bEQ committee. He is chair of the US Technical Advisory Group panel 1 (general principles) and panel 4 (indoor air quality) for ISO TC205 Building Environment Design.  He is a co-author of The Indoor Air Quality Guide: Best Practices for Design, Construction and Commissioning and Performance Metric Protocols for Commercial Buildings: Best Practices Guide. He also teaches multiple courses for the ASHRAE Learning Institute addressing ASHRAE 62.1 and IAQ.  Mr. Bohanon is also a member of the Professional Engineers of North Carolina, US Green Building Council, and I2SL.
  

Distinguished Speakers :

Justin Ng, MEI Chartered Energy Manager, CEM, CEA and CAP, has been working in Energy and Sustainability Management and Consultancy Industry for 15 years in North America, Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.  His main area of works involved in Energy Audit, Performance Contracting Project Management, Green Building Consultancy and Corporate Energy and Sustainability Program Development for commercial and industrial sectors.  Currently he is holding a position as Assistant Vice President and leading a Sustainability and Life Cycle Management team at Galaxy Macau. The main focuses are driving the development of energy and sustainability program, system life cycle and continuous improvement program.

Rishi Tirupari is the Director of Sustainability for Sands China Ltd. where he is responsible for the energy efficiency, sustainability strategy and green meetings & events across Sands China Ltd properties comprising of more than 30 Million sq.ft of integrated resort facility with over 13,000 rooms across 7 brand hotels and more than 1.5 million sq.ft MICE space.
 
Prior to joining Sands China Ltd., Rishi headed the Las Vegas Sands' US properties sustainability efforts and was responsible to set and execute the Sands ECO360 strategy for The Venetian Las Vegas, The Palazzo Las Vegas and Sands Expo and Convention Center and was instrumental in Las Vegas Sands achieving their carbon emission, waste and water usage reduction targets.
 
Rishi was also the National Chair for the USGBC Student groups where he oversaw and directed the programs of USGBC Students in all higher educational institutions in multiples states across the U.S. He is also currently serving on USGBC’s LEED Pilot Credit Committee where he facilitates the introduction of new credits to the LEED rating systems.
 
Rishi has a Master of Business Administration from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master of Science in Construction Management from University of Washington, Seattle and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, India. Rishi is a LEED O+M Accredited Professional, a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor and Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
  

Peter Seck-Pong Chan, Executive Director of Engineering at MGM Macau and MGM COTAI, and Immediate Past President ASHRAE MACAO Chapter.
 
Peter spent 17 years in the MEP installation industry between 1984 and 2002. Projects he had participated included HSBC Hong Kong Headquarters, Beijing Jing Guang Center, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Singapore Civil Defence Force Headquarters as well as Design & Build of Singapore Armed Force Kranji Camp Extension.  Peter moved to Property and Facilities Management field since 2003. His experience covers high end residential buildings, offices, shopping centres and Integrated resorts in Canada and Macau.  Peter joined MGM MACAU in 2010 and since then the Property has won two times the CEM Energy Saving Awards, 2 times the CEM Energy Saving Concept Awards and the ASHRAE Technology Award. 
 
Peters holds a MSc degree in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University, England and a MBA degree from South Illinois University, Carbondale.
